New Mini Planners for 2012

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011

New for 2012: Pocket-size planners based on our original Droplet planner design. Every monthly spread alternates with a spread of notes pages. The covers are hand printed (with a fun technique that I plan to feature in an upcoming Gift Wrap post!). Each notebook is hand bound with linen thread. Pick one up at my Etsy shop or, If you like the page designs and want to make a larger version of this planner for yourself, find a downloadable pdf at our Droplet Etsy shop.

Ben snapped a few photos of the action in the studio as we get ready for Renegade. I’m just finishing up some pocket calendars here. Two days left!

2011 Planners – Available for YOU!

Sunday, December 12th, 2010

This year I finally created a planner that is available for purchase by anyone who is interested (or whoever gets to them first)! I already sold all but four at the Renegade Holiday Craft Fair in Los Angeles this weekend. The final four are up and available on Etsy. You can see all of the designs on Flickr.

The design is based on the planner that I created for myself last year, so the page designs as well as the cover and binding design are all time tested.

The pages are sewn to vintage book straps, so each planner is one-of-a-kind. Details and dimensions are mentioned in the Etsy listings.

Happy New Year!

Droplet Update and Free Upgrade

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

Ben and I took some time to retool the DIY Planner and Calendar in our Droplet Etsy shop. We added a new Notes page with more writing space. We also clarified the instructions for setting up your planner for binding (other than a 3-ring binder) and added several pages to make the binding process go much more smoothly.

If you purchased a PDF from Droplet before March 8, 2010, send us a convo or email and we will send you the new upgraded version for free!

2010 Planner

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

I finally put together a planner/calendar for myself for the year. I guess March is a little late but better than never! The pages are sewn onto straps (repurposed book spines), which I then adhered to the chip board cover.

The planner pages are from Droplet.

DIY Calendar & Planner now available!

It took me forever to do this, but I finally turned my custom planner designs into a printable pdf format, complete with detailed instructions! (Needless to say I am quite excited!) I adjusted the designs to fit perfectly onto standard letter size paper, and created 3 assembly options to suit the needs of different people. The options include either placing the pages into a 3-ring binder (letter size or half size), or binding the pages with a multi-section binding. If you are interested, a digital file is available for purchase in our new “print and make” Etsy shop: droplet! (The page designs, as well as instructions for all 3 assembly options are included in the digital file.)

Ben and I finally decided to combine our creative efforts, and the result?… droplet! We just started up a brand new Etsy shop devoted entirely to “print and make” projects. Stay tuned for exciting projects and designs for you to print and make!
