The sewing is great. Are you just using a regular sewing machine and a thick needle? Ben had a great idea of scanning the brittle pages. Another idea that came to mind for me is laminating the pages. I got that idea from all the great bags I see that are made of laminated newspaper and sewn together. Xyron makes a great product for this. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Thank you for the laminating tips, Leah. Wow, laminating has come a long way since I was in grade school! I did just use a regular sewing machine and a medium-size needle.
